Try before you buy. 🔹The top should not extend higher than the top of the shoulder & the bottom should not fall below the top of the hipbone. 🔹A pack with a padded back & hip strap or waist belt are preferred. 50-70% of the weight can be removed off the shoulders and spine by a hip strap & will equalize the strain on the bones, joints, and muscles. 🔹Backpacks with a lot of pockets help distribute weight more effectively.
